Nach einigen Tagen im Schall & Wahn Productions Studio vergangenen Herbst freuen wir uns, euch an diesem Abend unsere Debut EP "The Difference In Us", vorzustellen. Mit dabei sind ein paar unserer liebsten befreundeten Bands und Menschen, ohne die das alles gar nicht möglich gewesen wäre.
Tapeversion gibt es an diesem Abend erstmalig zu erwerben, Digital kommt das ganze schon ein bissl früher. Bis dann!

YOUTH

Since their inception in the beginning of 2017, Youth merges the raw emo/punk sound of the 90s with more modern interpretations of the genre, creating a melancholic and yet moving atmosphere. With their first EP “The Difference in us“ due to be released via LaserLife Records on Tape in early 2018 , the 4-piece is looking forward to spending as much time on the road as possible.

In short time Spirit Desire managed to make their mark in the Austrian underground scene. After being founded at the end of 2014 they released a demo tape straight away and let the split EP “Same Blood”, together with local hardcore greats “Orphan”, follow a year later. In spring 2016 they put out their self-titled debut EP, and in early 2017 they started the year with a one-song-EP called “Sanchez”. Spirit Desire’s stile of music definitely has its roots in the 90’s – influenced by the likes of Dinosaur Jr., Nirvana, Weezer (Blue Album / Pinkerton) and the ilk, but also early emo and punk. However, more recent bands like Basement, Tigers Jaw or Nothing (they have already shared stages with all of them) are often used as a comparison. Their lyrics most of the time deal with emotional topics, still they manage not to drift off into dramatic spheres, but leave room for interpretation.

The evening will be opened by these 4-piece which lives spread out over Austria. Wonderful atmospheric Emo-tunes, you will be able to hear a lot of tracks from their debut album which will be released in 2018. Be there early and don't miss this!
