Hailing from a city near Venice, Ackeejuice Rockers are a DJ duo emerging from the urban culture and currently exploring the new sounds of global bass music, moombahton and dancehall. The blend created by the warm sounds of black music and the more synthy ones of electronic music is the starting point the duo tapped into. Pressing rhythms and a fast tempo suddenly break to leave room to moombahton and trap segments, without compromising the hype.
King P and Ali Selecta are part of the winners of Ursa Major Remix Competition, organised by the eclectic New York-based label Trouble & Bass. Their ‘Wade In The Water” remix has been published by Mad Decent on their SoundCloud Roundup. Released on Overcooked Records, their current project, Freeze EP, includes remixes from Klipar (Zombies For Money), Boyfriend and Neki Stranac and serves as their introduction to the global bass music scene, alongside some publications with La Valigetta and 24Bit.
