Golden fish, fluffy chips and bearded mermaids on board!

We’re launching Vienna’s first fish and chips FOOD SHIP! (That’s right, food trucks are soooo 2015.)

Before the ship sets sail, the crew will be popping up on land at the Donaukanaltreiben 2016!

On the Grelle Forelle’s terrace at the water’s edge, you can imagine yourself onto Bondi or Brighton beach. And as the sun slowly sets, you'll be ripping into tasty fish and chips. Paradise, we tell you!

The recipe is homemade by an Australian and a Brit who once fought over which country made the best fish and chips, before they joined forces to create their crisp, golden battered fish, and fluffy chips sprinkled with their secret seasoning.

To add to the awesome atmosphere, chilled DJ sounds and drinks will be served up by the team from Grelle Forelle!

Wir haben goldgebackenen Fisch, flaumige Chips and Meerjungfrauen mit Bart an Bord!

Wir starten Wiens erstes Fish & Chips FOOD-SCHIFF. (Food-Trucks sind nämlich soooo 2015.)

Bevor wir zur Weltumsegelung starten, bekommt die Crew noch einmal Landgang. Und zwar am Donaukanaltreiben 2016! Dort liegen wir auf der Terrasse der Grellen Forelle vor Anker, und Ihr könnt euch wie am Bondi oder Brighton Beach fühlen. Die Sonne geht langsam am Horizont unter, während Ihr die geilsten Fish & Chips diesseits der Donau genießt.

Das Rezept stammt von einem Australier und einem Briten. Erst stritten sie erbittert darüber, welches Land denn nun die besten Fish & Chips macht. Doch dann spannten sie zusammen. Ein Glück, denn nur dadurch kommt die Welt jetzt in den Genuss von wunderbar saftigem Fisch und den (fast) weltbekannten flaumigen Chips mit der geheimen Gewürzmischung.

Doch damit nicht genug: Dazu gibt es entspannte DJ-Sounds und kühle Drinks, beides serviert vom Team der Grellen Forelle!
